Bay Fortune is blessed with great people such as our neighbors Teri Hall of Fire and Water Creations PEI Seaglass and Rachel Leslie of Fortune Bridge Yoga Studio; both Teri and Rachel are Registered and Certified Yoga Instructors.   

Incorporate Hatha, Ashtanga, Chair or Kundalini Yoga and Meditation into your stay, experience Reiki treatments, Cooking class will be offered by Rachel utilizing fresh organic produce to learn more about what you eat, meet our "Inn Chef" Domenic Serio to plan your dinners, or tour the organic gardens with one of our gardeners.

We are also fortunate to have Setsuko Nagai-Eagar offering Massage Therapy on site at the inn. Setsuko who is a Japanese woman married to an Islander and has studied in Japan, Thailand, and India, Setsuko has worked in several prestigious 5 star hotel-spas in Japan.

A la carte wellness offerings include:

Group or private yoga and meditation class In class, you will learn how to breathe deeper with breathing exercises (Pranayama), move and stretch your body safely (Asanas), and focus your mind with meditation. Yoga makes you feel better, it helps you to relax and it strengthens your body, your mind, and your life. 7:30 to 8:45 AM; 1:00 to 2:15; 3:00 to 4:15 Base rate of $60 for up to four people, $15 each additional person; or at the Studio 10:00 AM Monday to Friday

Create and Meditate: Join Teri, certified Kundalini yoga and meditation teacher, for an experience that combines sea and spirit. Make your own chakra pendant with genuine local sea glass, pearls and silver in Teri's studio overlooking Bay Fortune. The experience will be followed by an outdoor (weather permitting) meditation focusing on your chakra energies. Connect your love of the ocean with creativity and spirituality. As a finishing touch we will sit on an outdoor deck enjoying homemade dip, created by my friend, local chef, Michael Smith. $68 per person minimum of two, maximum of four.

Create an Ocean Gem Come try your luck in a search for authentic sea glass. We will then turn this new-found treasure into a piece of art -- a unique jewellery pendant made by you -- for you, or a loved one. You may wish to bring your own treasure found on a previous hunt. Be with Teri as she shares her knowledge of the journey of the glass that turns a fragment into a gem. As a finishing touch we will sit on an outdoor deck overlooking Bay Fortune, enjoy local organic veggies and a homemade dip, created by my friend, local chef, Michael Smith. $56 per person minimum of two, maximum of four.

Breathwalk a yoga beach walk which is both physical and meditative. In class, you will learn how to breathe deeper with breathing exercises (Pranayama) Yoga makes you feel better, it helps you to relax and it strengthens your body, your mind, and your life.  1:00–2:15 & 3:00 to 4:15 Base rate of $60 for up to four people, $15 each additional person

Stretch and meditatea gentle stretch to prepare to meditate, move and stretch your body safely (Asanas), and focus your mind with meditation. Base rate of $60 for up to four people, $15 each additional person (45 minute class)

Reiki Treatment a Japanese holistic, light-touch, energy-based modality re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) throughout the system, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability. $50 for a 45 minute session

Massage Therapy by Setsuko Nagai-Eagar I will welcome you and guide you to a relaxing space, and help you enhance your health and natural beauty. Conditions
Cancellation Policy Reservation deposits, less a service charge of $30.00, will be refunded if cancelled more than 7 days in advance of arrival. If you must cancel within 7 days of arrival, please call. If we are able to re-book your room, we will refund your deposit less the $30.00 service charge. If we are unable to re-book your room, your deposit will be forfeited and we will require payment for the days reserved in full. Early Departure Early departures are considered cancellations and are subject to forfeiture of your deposit payment.
